Illegal Lane Change Stupid

by What Makes Me Mad ~ June 23rd, 2009

Rules of the road save lives. There is a reason why you need to follow the rules of the Road and thats for the safety of others. Yesterday i was heading back to the office and pulled up to a intersection in the far right lane to make a right hand turn. I sat and waited untill traffic was almost non existant in the Inside lane. When I proceeded to turn into MY lane which by the way is perfectly LEGAL, Some Jack Knob Comes out of his lane in the MIDDLE of the intersection and into my lane almost causing a Major crash with ME in it.

This is why this Law is in place… Damn I was mad at this Dip Stick. It is one of the most common things that happens at a intersection and causes more crashes than anything else. Obviously this dumb Ass was in a major hurry as usual and proceeded to weave in and out of traffic the rest of the way down the road.  Hey Jack Know…. Next time leave a day early if you are in that big of a hurry!!!

Some stupid Stuff like this really makes me mad.

Airport Profiling

by What Makes Me Mad ~ June 16th, 2009

I think I have been Profiled!!!

My youngest son was going to see his Mom for the summer and was taking a plane to get there. I was taking him into the Airport after the Traffic and the Crazy Parking problems and we were getting on the elevator from the parking Garage when a very nice Old Lady said to my son… "Are you going HOME to your Mothers" I didnt think anything of it and proceeded into the airport to check his bags in.

As we were walking up to the counter the Nice young Lady at the desk said, "Are you going home to your Mothers House" I spoke up this time and said ‘NO" His Home is here and he is going to visit his Mom. At this time I am getting a little mad.

Just when I thought it was over, He is Getting ready to board the plane and when the Airline personal was taking his ticket, He said, "Are you going back Home to Your Moms house"  Needless to say I went frigin Balistic this time. I promptly told him and about 139 other Passengers that THIS WAS HIS HOME and He is going to visit.

By this point it hits me….. I have been Profiled By everyone. They all automatically assume that I am the Disneyland Dad and just see my kids on the weekend….. Well they all know different now!!!

Maybe next time they see a kid and his dad walking through the Airport or even on the street, they will think twice before they make a comment like that. man this makes me MAD!!!

Road Trip

by What Makes Me Mad ~ June 3rd, 2009

Last week we went on a road trip with the family in our 41 foot toyhauler trailer and truck. We had a great time seeing the sites and the country, kids played and all in all had a good time…. UNTILL,  This is going to make you mad

We are 3 miles from our house after driving for over 1000 miles,  Im on the Interstate in the middle lane in the middle of the day and I notice this car in front weaving and swearving all over the road. I try to be patient and not pass but SHE starts to go so SLOW, I had to do it. So I gave it a little Diesel power to go around her and just as the truck is going past her, I look over and you guessed it…. SHE Is TEXT MESSAGING.  LOOSER…..   Then she swearves right at my 41 foot trailer.  With a little room, I was able to clear her car and I laid on the Horn for as long as I could.

I think she had to stop a clean out her pants after that one. Needless to say she was done on the Phone at that point.  Lesson learned, Dont make me mad on the Interstate.

Taking Stock of What Makes You Tick

by What Makes Me Mad ~ May 24th, 2009

One of the best ways of keeping your anger under control is through keeping tabs of what triggers the angry response from you. Not knowing what makes you react angrily would not help you control your emotions. Keep track of the daily things that gnaw away at your patience or might otherwise solicit an unprecedented reaction from you.

ü Pay attention to situations that may trigger negative feelings. Keep a daily memo of everyday scenario as soon as the feelings of emotional anger surface. Make sure you carry a notepad for taking down notes throughout the day. Make special notice of the time of day you are prone to be shorter tempered than usual.

ü Triggers may come in the form of persons. Try to notice if it is just one particular person or if it is a group of people that make you angry. If it is just the same person, be aware of the situation in general. Does the person make you angry because they are purposely making you angry or if it is just the annoyance of having the person around. This should at least give you awareness to avoid the person in the future, or if avoidance is not possible, awareness will at least keep you on guard for any emotional response from you and perhaps you would be better equipped in handle matters of conflict.

ü Sometimes anger may be a response to situations. Traffic jams, for example or long lines at the DMV are usual unavoidable circumstances. Venting your anger on some one will not solve your problem as the problem does not lay on any single person, but on the whole situation. Make special note if it is one particular situation or a variety of situations altogether that make you lose control. Perhaps the trigger may be in the common events that arise in different situations, like long lines in particular whether in the grocery, the bank or at the movie theatre. If you can not avoid the same situation that could trigger an angry response from you, at least you should be aware that you could potentially have an emotional outburst during this time.

ü Some triggers may not be in the form of people or situations. Sometimes the culprit may lie in things, like machines that do not work when you need it the most, or computer glitches. We have all lost our temper one time or another when dealing with machines that just refuse to work with us. Perhaps it is high time to get your computer upgraded, or junk that paper copier and get a new one. If not, then you could perhaps ask someone to assist you and you could avoid the situation altogether.

Make special note of the time of day when the outburst occurred. Some people are just hot tempered during particular times and being aware of the time when you could be more vulnerable to angry attacks could help you avoid the situation in the future. If you notice that you are especially hot tempered after lunch, for example, then you could perhaps take this cue and take a short nap after lunch hours, just to skip the angriest part of your day. Or make this time an alone time, giving you time to relax and take a break from people, things or situations.

Letting Go And Getting With The Flow

by What Makes Me Mad ~ May 23rd, 2009

Once in a while, we are all going to experience anger. It is a natural part of being human and is a healthy part of human emotions. But harboring and simmering in the feelings of anger will make it hard for a person to move on beyond the anger. This could make anger linger for years and could take over your entire life.

The best thing to do is to let go of your anger. It does not mean that you should ignore your hurt feelings, it means having to acknowledge your angry emotions. You should feel angry, deal with your emotions but do not let it control you.

Simmering in anger would only make you stay angry for a long period of time. For some, it could make the person angry for years. It would only lead to physical deterioration. Angry emotions do take its toll on the person. It would lead to depression, high blood pressure, stroke and heart ailments.

Allow yourself to feel angry. Give yourself time to acknowledge your anger. Provide a proper venue for your anger, stay in an isolated space or room by yourself and pour all your angry emotions out by hitting a pillow or writing all your aggression on a piece of paper and ceremoniously burn the paper along with all your feelings of anger along with it. Put on some heavy metal music and dance your angriness away until you are exhausted. Do everything you can to get it out of your system, but never take it out on any one. This would only lead to more conflict and create more tension than was to begin with.

Let all your angry energy out, do not hold anything in. Strive to be a better person by forgiving yourself for being angry in the first place. Allow yourself to be just human. Make a conscious effort to be calm and stay calm when dealing with other people. This may take time and lots of practice. If you do try to be conscious with your efforts, this could lead to less spontaneous outbursts from you and other inappropriate comments that may only hurt others around you.

Even when you feel you have calmed down sufficiently enough to be able to face the world again, always try to stay positive about the situation. Do not dwell on the negative aspects of the argument or conflict. Try to resolve the conflict and work through your aggression. Stay focused, remember you are working to solve the issues at hand, not retaliate or get personal with the offending party.

Whatever problem you two may be having, remember that you are trying to be a better person and building a better life for yourself. Rise above petty and hurtful remarks, and do your best to forgive even if you do not think the other person deserves it. It will be easier for the person to let go of anger once he has expressed himself and made himself and his frustrations understood. Grinder

by What Makes Me Mad ~ May 19th, 2009

Ok, this one is going to fry your shorts and make you really mad.  I was at school today picking up my kid. (I guess this shows my age now)  Anyway, I picking him up from school and waiting in line with all the other parents when I look up at the Biatch in front of me and she chucks a cigarette out the window.

Are you frigin kidding me… we are at a grade school you Biatch. Well as you might know be by now, I get out of my Truck, Walk up to hers and pick it up off the ground, I then tap on the window to get her to roll it down, When she did… I threw it back in her face!!. Holly crap it’s bad enough to be Smoking on school grounds let alone littering. And to top it off, she had 2 Babies in the car!!!!
It was all I could do from beating her ass. Well maybe next time she will think twice about throwing it out the window when she looks at the burn on her leg form me throwing it back in.
Boy certain things just make me mad.

Clean up Your Act

by What Makes Me Mad ~ July 28th, 2008

This is going to make you as mad as it made me.  The other day I am sitting at a street light watching this lady cross the crosswalk. She was just about to the other side and one of the Grocery bags she was carrying broke!! In a mad frantic heated mood., She grabbed up her things and put them in another bag and stormed off.

This is What makes me mad, She LET the BAG to fly away down the street. What a biatch. Some people just need to learn to controll their anger and clean up after themselves.

Needless to say i just could’nt keep my mouth shut, so I proceeded to roll down my window and give her a piece of my mind and boy she didnt like that. She called me things that i didnt even understand, again, What a Biatch.

All of this just to probably save a few bucks on Gas. Next time dont walk or DOUBLE BAG. :)

Hot Rod Kids

by What Makes Me Mad ~ June 7th, 2008

Ok, im sitting at a red light to day and a truck pulls up beside me in the turn lane to make a left. Out of the window comes this punk kid and says, "Buy a Chevy" Mind you I drive a big bad ass lifted Ford F250 Super Duty PSD that is bad.

So I turn to this kid like any other dad would do with his young son in the back seat and say, "Get out of the turn lane and lets run that piece of crap" Man I was mad. I have been street racing for 28 years and I think i deserve a little more respect than that. Come on, this kid and his buddies were in this stock little 2 wheel drive stock Chevy truck. I dont even think I should waste the Diesel fuel on these punks.

So you probably think you know what happened. NOT!!!!  They made the turn to move on down the roed but not before i lit up the tires like a bad case of roman candles and smoked them for a couple blocks like any other dad would do.

So, next time PUNKS!!! watch who your messin with.
